For patients with existing teeth that cannot be saved with conventional
dentistry, there is a technique called "Teeth in a Day" that provides them with
an immediate alternative to removable dentures. In this procedure, a thorough
examination is performed and diagnostic records are taken. On the day of
surgery, all the remaining teeth are removed. Next, implants are placed using
the time tested and proven techniques of the Nobel Biocare System. Finally, an
impression is taken and the patient is dismissed for a few hours while their
new bridge is being made. A few hours later, the patient returns to our office
and they go home with teeth that look, feel, and function better than what they
had that morning!
After a 3-6 month healing period, a final bridge is made with an even higher
degree of precision and esthetics.
